You can now manage Organization Info records in a case! 🏢
Accessing Organization Info
On a case record, select Organization Info on the navigation menu or by scrolling down until you find the Organization Info section.
Adding a New Organization Info Detail
To add a new organization record, select Entity, Cost Center or Organization Info as required and click on the "+" button. Select your Entity, Cost Center or Organization Type and organization name from there.
Managing Organization Info Data
You can manage Entity, Cost Center, and Organization Info Types by clicking on Manage Type in the Type Menu.
You can add new Entity, Cost Center, and Organization Info Types by clicking "+ Add Type" on the top right. Fill in the details and click on Save.
You can toggle off Types that you don't use.
From the Legal Entity, Cost Center or Organization menu, click on Manage Entities, Manage Cost Centers, or Manage Organization Info to enter the Management Screen, where you can configure the list of entities displayed for each Type.
You can add new Entities, Cost Centers, or Organization Info by clicking on "+ Add New Entity". Fill in the details and click on Save.
Organization Info Data Mapping
You have the option to map Entities, Cost Centers, and Organization Info data to specific Entity, Cost Center and Organization Types so that you will be able to see valid options based on the Type selected. If you don't do this mapping then all the Entities, Cost Centers and Organizations you have added will be shown for each Type.
The Entity Management screen shows all the entities you have added. To map which entity should be shown for each entity type, select an entity type from the menu on the left hand side and use the checkbox to the right of each entity name to select those to appear.
💡Note: The Globe Icon indicates items with Global Values and is added automatically to newly added entities. This means these items have not been mapped and will appear for all types. The globe is removed when the entity is mapped to a specific entity type or types.
Using the image provided above as an example, here's how Organization Info Data Mapping works:
DemoCorp Ltd. appears as an option since it is mapped to Host Legal Entity.
Workia Inc. Uk appears as an option since it is a Global Value.
Workia Inc. Europe does not appear as an option since it is not mapped to Host Legal Entity and is not a Global Value.
Editing Organization Info
On the Organization Info section, select a detail to edit by clicking on the Organization Info record.
Once you make the changes, click on "Save" button to apply the modified details to the Organization Info record.
Commenting and Mentions in an Organization Info Detail
You can utilize the messaging feature on each Organization Info record by clicking on the Comment icon. To keep track of the discussions relating to a specific case record.
You can mention a team member on the messaging to notify that member when they are tagged in a message. This will send a notification through the in-app notification and also through email.
You can also set the permissions on the comments posted by selecting if anyone can see the comment or only Mobility and Admin roles can view the comment.
